I have just created a new image for my author site to reflect the cover art for Give Me a Break, my young adult magical realism novella – coming out in June. I also updated the cover image on my Facebook page. Here’s the cover image.
Here’s the one I added to my personal facebook wall.
I know an art teacher who would probably compare the first one to a dog’s breakfast, but I like my photomontage style (thank you photoshop for making it such fun) and it gives a feel for the book.
Wodja thunk? (That’s my accent is showing. You’ll be glad that although Give me a Break is set in Sydney, it’s not written in dialect like Huckleberry Fin.)

Animals have long been subjects for photography. Look at all the cute cat calenders. These paintings are a delightful departure from that kind of thing. I think they’re extraodinary and love the whimsical nature of the works. Once again I don’t know who the artist is, but I thank them for making these images available on the web for us to enjoy.
